YHA Thameside
Our most popular accommodation in London, this hostel is a perfect for cheap yet comfortable accommodation with easy access to the city centre. Situated on the edge of the Docklands, this modern London Youth Hostel offers en suite rooms and excellent bus and tube links – the nearest tube station is 15mins walk away. A safe and comfortable base for schools wishing to explore all that Central London has to offer – with many schools choosing to return year after year! Every room at YHA London Thameside is en-suite, which makes a stay here even more convenient! London Thameside provides disabled access and rooms.
YHA St Paul's
This Youth Hostel used to be the school for the St Paul's Cathedral choir boys and is right next to the famous landmark itself. For added authenticity, you can hear the bells of the cathedral tolling whilst you enjoy everything this historic building has to offer. From the Latin inscribed facade to the ornate window and door stonework, YHA London St Paul's oozes almost as much character on the outside as its guests do on the inside. Located in London's well known financial district, the City of London, the hostel is just minutes from the West End of London and all the usual tourist attractions, perfect for a cheap city break. St Paul's underground station and bus stops are all close by, making YHA London St Paul's a great base for exploring the capital city. The Youth Hostel even boasts a dedicated classroom/meeting room which can be pre-booked for school groups.
YHA Lee Valley
The perfect spot for an educational visit to London, YHA London Lee Valley offers six Scandinavian-style lodges on the waterfront in a stunning country park - and all this just a 1 hour 15 minute coach journey from Central London!
This unique property is made up of self-contained wooden lodges which means that each building can be easily hired for sole use - great for small groups. Each lodge is locked separately by key card for added security and peace of mind during your school trip.
Please note that although we can offer full-board accommodation at Lee Valley, there will not be time for groups to head back to the hostel from Central London for dinner before heading back out for an evening activity, therefore we usually recommend our half-board option (breakfast and packed lunch) for groups choosing to stay at Lee Valley.
Safestay – Elephant and Castle

Safestay Elephant and Castle was the first Safestay Hostel to open in London and is located in John Smith House, the former 18th Century Labour Party headquarters. The building has been extensively renovated to the highest standards with beautiful interior designing! Please note that Safestay do not provide catering other than breakfast, therefore we are unable to offer a full board option if choosing to stay at any of the Safestay Hostels. Packed lunches can be delivered to the hostel from outside caterers
Safestay – Holland Park
Safestay London Holland Park is ideally located in the heart of London, nestled within one of the capital's most prestigious parks. This stunning hostel consists of 3 buildings, including the East Wing of the park's original Jacobean building which surrounds their private courtyard garden.
The property has been fully refurbished to the high standards for which Safestay is renowned. It is ideally located to explore the many attractions London has to offer, with Notting Hill, Portobello Road and the Royal Albert Hall on its doorstep. With dormitories designed for large parties (some with triple bunks!) and within a stone's throw from the Natural History and Science Museum’s, Safestay London Holland Park is great for school residential trips.
