Only minutes from the village and Coniston Water, this traditional Lakeland house is an excellent base for exploring all that Coniston has to offer. The hostel is a major Mountain Leader Training and Assessment base and a popular venue for school trips. Located at the foot of the Coniston Fells, Holly How is ideally situated for a range of mountain activities including climbing, abseiling, gorge scrambling and mountain walking.

Our water sports activities take place on Coniston Lake, a 10 minute walk from the hostel. Why not combine your outdoor and adventurous activities with some sightseeing? YHA Holly How is located within easy reach of all South Lakeland's most popular attractions including Grizedale Forest Park, Lake Windermere, Hill Top (the home of Beatrix Potter) and the fabulous National Park Visitor Centre at Brockhole.
